The Mediflight Critical Care Retrieval Team utilise various forms of transport depending on distance, weather and patient condition.

 

Nationally, Mediflight utilises a Augusta Bell 412, BK 117 and a EC 130 for rotor wing missions, Pilatus PCXII fixed wing aircraft of the RFDS, and Ambulances of the South Australian Ambulance Service for road missions.

 

Internationally, Mediflight utilises a Lear 35 and Lear 36 fixed wing aircraft and Commercial airlines for the transportation of ambulant and Stretcher patients
