International ServiceMediflight has been in operation as an international service since 1988. Mediflight was previously known as the 'AUShealth Airborne Critical Care Service' and later renamed Medijet.
Dr J. E. (Fred) Gilligan's expertise and dedication was instrumental in the development and success of this early international service. Today, Mediflight's success is owed to the conitnued dedication of Mediflight's Doctors, Nurses and Co-ordinators who respond to urgent enquiries 24 hours a day.
